NEW FILM ’90 MINUTES IN HEAVEN’ OUT IN THEATRES NOW
There is a new film that has been released September 11, 2015 called, “90 Minutes in Heaven” based on a book. “90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death and Life,” by Don Piper. The film is based off of Don Piper’s story of how he was driving home from a leadership conference and he got into a fatal car accident with a semi-truck. He was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident and was gone for 90 minutes. Don Piper said that he died at 11:45am that day and was revived 1:15pm. During the time of death, he said he saw a glimpse of what heaven is like.

According to the New York Best Times Bestseller description of the book, it says, “Back on earth, a passing minister who had also been at the conference is led to pray for Don even though he knows the man is dead. Piper miraculously comes back to life and the bliss of heaven is replaced by a long and painful recovery. For years Piper kept his heavenly experience to himself. Finally, however, friends and family convinced him to share his remarkable story.”
The film is based on the best selling book and is inspired by the story told by Don, as he is one of the writers of the film with director Michael Polish.
Surprisingly there are some very well known actors in this faith based film such as leading characters played by Hayden Christiansen, (Starwars Episode II and III) Kate Bosworth, (Blue Crush, Remember the Titans) Contemporary Christian singer Michael W. Smith, (Multiple Grammy & Dove Award Winner) and E News Jason Kennedy appears in the film.
Many of you may know Jason Kennedy from the E! Channel for “E NEWS” with Giuliana Rancic and others. He is also married to a well known fashion blogger, Lauren Scruggs, (Lolo Magazine), who are outspoken about their faith. Pretty awesome we have some people in the Hollywood industry who are unashamed of their faith and who are making a positive difference. Again, confirming the idea of God’s army rising in the industry.
