American Idol singer Jordin Sparks Sings at the Harvest America Event & Crusade

Jordin Sparks from American Idol (winner of season 6) recently partnered with Pastor Greg Laurie’s church and event for Harvest America in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 11, 2017. She was joined by singer-songwriter Phil Wickham, who normally leads at the Harvest Crusade in California at the Angels Stadium.

Jordin has been on the top of the music charts for Billboard, and has sold millions of albums and traveled around the world. Her contribution to the Harvest America crusade was special because she typically sings in the secular world and was able to share her testimony and journey through Hollywood and back to her faith.
Throughout her success, according to Harvest.org, “Sparks admits that Jesus ‘was not the center, like He should have been…I wasn’t seeking Him like I should have been, I was only leaning on Him when times got tough…I was relying on my own strength.’ But at an Easter service in 2016, she recommitted her life to Jesus, and now says, ‘Jesus does His best work when you’re broken, and He puts the pieces back together.”
Watch Jordin’s recent rendition of “My Redeemer Lives” at the recent crusade where thousands got saved with Harvest America (through Greg Laurie’s church and ministry) and the webcast video from Harvest America based on “What Is the Meaning of Life?”
