2022 Christmas Decore’ Inspiration: from the Cassidy Home

By: Christi Given Cassidy December 12, 2022

Since the holidays are here I wanted to share some simple ideas and inspiration for Christmas decorating in your home. There are simple things that you can do to add joy to your living space. Here are some festive ideas from garland on your mantle or dining room table, to simple pointsettias on your porch and in your floral arrangements and more.

Some of the stores I shop at that have great decore are "At Home," "Homegoods," "Hobby Lobby," and TJ Maxx. Even your local Dollar Tree has great finds from holiday signs, to glass ware, and inexpensive candles. Below is some 2022 Christmas decore from our home to yours and I hope that you are inspired and have a blessed holiday season with family.

Christmas Decore' Tips

1.) Add Garland and Decore on Your Mantle or TV Stand

Add any garland, candles, stocking holders, and Christmas tree decorations. The two silver trees I bought at Hobby Lobby. The fake candles are from Hobby Lobby and are remote controlled.

2.) Add Decore to Your Bathroom: Includes Hand Towels, Holiday Soap, and Artwork

3.) Add Poinstettias To Your Floral Arrangements & Garland To Your Dining Table

Whether you buy garland or some type of greenery to add to your dining table it makes it more festive and has a winter feel to it. The Christmas wreath candle holders I bought at Hobby Lobby, and the fake Poinstettias are from Dollar Tree but you can get them at Michael's or even Walmart. Add fake candles to your table setting for a more magical feel. The tea light candles and the candle holders are from At Home as well. Add a nice table runner from TJ Maxx or Homegoods.

4.) Add a Wreath to Your Door & a Holiday Rug

5.) Add Christmas Decorations Throughout House

Add some extra Christmas cheer through the home with snowmen, reindeer, nativity scenes, signs, red and green colors and or cute items like mini Christmas trees.

6.) Add Cute Holiday Hand Towels to Your Bathroom and Kitchen

Readers, what is YOUR favorite piece of advice or what would implement in your home? Merry Christmas and remember the reason for the season... don't leave the Christ out of Christ-Mas!
